90% of non pregnant women have a misplaced uterus (I learnt this in my training but in all honesty, in my 5 years of clinical practice, I have yet to come across a uterus in its proper exact anatomical position).  By that I mean that their uterus isn’t in perfect anatomical position as you see in diagrams.  This isn’t actually a problem unless she isn’t moving around easily and you start having issues such as bad period pain, cramps, back pain, migraines, nausea, PMS, constipation or loose stool...

So, I am guessing by now you must have seen the latest news on Gwyneth Paltrow going for a Womb Spa or Womb Cleanse, and wondering what on earth that is, and what is the benefit.  I have even had a journalist on the phone asking me about womb steams, how they work and what my thoughts are.

So I thought I would share my experience of this wonderful yet simple therapy with you.

Womb steams have been done in China for many years and Victorian women in England used to do them...

Hi, I am Rachel and you are most welcome to my online home.

 

I am a woman's reproductive health specialist, who after suffering terribly with various issues with my period, found natural solutions to heal myself.
