A MAP THROUGH THE MENOPAUSE

The journey through pre-menopause, peri-menopause and menopause itself can be incredibly disorientating. Everything turns on its head, you no longer relate to the world as you know it and women often ask me if what they are going through is normal.

However, menopause isn't just something that happens to us, it is a process of transformation which, once we have accepted, can help us to create a life we really want for ourselves and our families. It can be an opportunity to really review what it is you need and want and you can become the architect of your life.

In this video interview, fellow women's health expert Kate Codrington and I discuss the menopause journey from an emotional point of view and the key stages women go through. Whilst they apply to all processes of change, Kate explains how we see them in the menopause and what you can do in each stage.

If you find this useful, you can find Kate on her therapy website, her therapist mentor website or at Love Your Belly, which holds workshops for women.
